Collect the breakfast items and matches
This task begins after you enter the estate and sign Kate’s contract. The pot is cooked in the servant’s room, then carried to Aldous during the next assignment.

For Feeding the Cat, give the cat milk before picking up the dead mouse. This is optional and easiest to miss while gathering the cooking supplies. It is not the action that reveals the matches; the mouse does that.
Heat the premium-game porridge
Light the stove
Put the wood inside the servant-room stove and use the matches to light it.
Put the ingredients in the pot
Place the pot on top of the stove. Add the milk and oats to it and let the stove heat the mixture.
Collect the breakfast
Take the Small Pot With Porridge from the stove.
Checkpoint: The cooked pot is in your inventory; continue into Aldous’s room for his morning routine.
If you cannot collect the cooked pot, confirm the fire is lit, the pot is on the stove rather than in the firebox, and both ingredients were placed in it. The premium route does not need the demo’s sugar cabinet.
Add the berries and feed Aldous
Wake and shave Aldous first
Open his bed curtains, set the repaired alarm to 7:00 and shave him with the razor. Keep the ear piece and clean the blood with the cloth. Collect the bowl and spoon from the room/drawers.
Trade for the berries
Give the ear piece to the bird through the open window. Use the key it provides on the top drawer and take the berries.
Prepare the bowl
Give Aldous the bowl, porridge and spoon, then add the berries when he says something is missing.
Trap the bug
Move a berry to another hole and watch the bug move. Cover the hole it uses next, keeping the other exits occupied, until it is trapped and can be squashed.
Feed him
Move the spoon to his mouth repeatedly.
Checkpoint: He says he has had enough. Put on the slippers and proceed to Aldous’s exercise.
If your recipe asks for sugar
The October 2025 PC demo uses 235 on the portrait-number cabinet and gives you sugar. Its written recipe is pot on stove, milk, oats, sugar, heat. The premium 243 cabinet appears later during the reception and gives a candle. These are different assignments, not interchangeable answers.
