If your object is a shed door after hunting, use the meat puzzle’s 91276 rather than a box code. The table is a scene reference; it is not a claim that every lock in the game takes numbers.

Garden stone box: collect and arrange the tablets

  1. Collect the flower tablet

Solve the flower pyramid, pick up the bouquet and take the tablet revealed in the pot.

  2. Collect the mailbox tablet

Milk the goat into the jug and take the small key from the kicked-up dirt. Unlock the mailbox and take its tablet. Feed the bouquet to the goat before milking only if you want that optional achievement.

  3. Collect the cockroach tablet

Clear the six cockroaches into the black hole. Move the arrow-marked stone to an adjacent square to make a cockroach move one space away. If it becomes trapped by obstacles or another insect, reset the board. Take the tablet when all six are gone.

  4. Set the containment order

Place all three tablets on the wooden box. Arrange the illustrated sequence as Tree → Nest → Egg → Bird → House → Cabinet → Bottle → Droplet. The two nested groups run from largest container to smallest: tree/nest/egg/bird and house/cabinet/bottle/drop.

Checkpoint: Box opens for the flag.

  5. Summon the guests

Put the flag on the pole and pull the rope to raise it.

Checkpoint: Alexandra’s carriage arrives. Continue with her suitcase and payment.

“Stone puzzle” can also mean the arrow stone used on the cockroach board. That board supplies a tablet; the tablet box supplies the flag. Its stone is moved next to insects, not inserted as another tablet.

Boxes solved by patterns instead of digits

  • Aldous’s shaving box: use its two empty slots to move the patterns to the matching outer edges: chevrons at top, straight lines at right, waves at bottom and diagonal lines at left. It opens for the razor.
  • William’s cigar box: rebuild the broken champagne bottle so its arrow is continuous, then match that arrow pattern on the cabinet box. Its reward is the cigar, not another bottle.
  • First-night attic: the figurine story gives a purse key, the normal window constellations give a statue, and matching animals to habitats gives the scroll and rung. Use the attic box sequences for those distinct objects.
  • Bathroom soap box: moving tiles keep sliding until blocked; use pieces as stops to complete the diagonal. The 13-move bathroom sequence applies to the initial layout. Wall pictures behind the bath use associations instead.

When a familiar box contains a hidden letter

After the main ending, Kate’s letter starts a chain in familiar boxes. The lab floor box now uses R R R L R L R R L, not the ordinary matches input. The attic constellations and dinner wine-box markings also change according to the new letters.

The final hidden-room box is 6294, derived from four earlier clues. Follow the complete secret-clip chain so the necessary letters and viewing context are present. Entering a secret code during ordinary progression does not substitute for the main task.
